About Me

Digital Marketing
And Social Media Executive
Acareer that began in Nashville at age 14 writing 100-word stories for the local newspaper has come full circle in the most modern of ways, as I now frequently write stories of the 140-character variety…or create video for viewing not just on 50-inch screens, but 5-inch ones, too. Throughout it all, I’ve striven to learn as I teach, to listen as I speak, and to follow as I lead.

The results speak for themselves, including these recent achievements:

  • Drove 220% increase in social media engagement and boosted Facebook followers 760%.
  • Coordinated social media campaign ranked No. 1 on Twitter Top Ten by Nielsen for TV, July, 2015.
  • Launched 2x award-nominated website featuring sweepstakes powered by user-generated social media content.
  • Utilized extensive video production and storytelling skills to build brand awareness while generating 720 million YouTube views.
  • Directed innovative digital marketing and advertising campaigns employing state-of-the-art retargeting pixels in paid, owned and earned environments.
  • Overhauled existing email marketing database, improved content, and increased open rate 22%.
  • Designed and executed within a two-week window of assignment-to-rollout a multi-faceted online event later named Cablefax Digital Awards finalist.

Career highlights include:

  • Executive producer of 250+ hours of national television broadcasts;
  • Supervising or segment producer of additional 300+ features;
  • Founding managing editor of Country Weekly, the nation’s best-selling music magazine.

Ask Me Anything

I’m a storyteller at heart…but the stories I like to tell are those of others. Which is my way of saying I don’t talk about myself that easily, as I’d rather hear about what is going on in your life. So I thought I’d “midnight acquisition” from Reddit an AMA session, in which I answer questions posed to me via my Twitter feed. Want to join in?
